There’s a reason this book has become a classic so fast. Dr. Eger’s story is priceless, so chock full of lessons for healing and traversing life; a must-read for any growing human being.
From a “therapy” perspective, my main takeaway was that one has just got to forgive oneself for choices they made at a time they didn’t know or weren’t able to do better, because that’s the first, as well as the ultimate, step in healing and moving forward.
